Becoming a Christian is NOT:
- Keeping a set book of rules
- Living a 'good' or 'perfect' life
- Being a member of a church
- Being baptized in water
- Having special rituals.
Becoming a Christian is about having a relationship with the Son of God, Jesus Christ, believing that he died for all of us, because of our sin.
John 3:14-17
As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
